Baseline

Terms of use

Last updated 1 October 2026

In short

Baseline is a free NGX market scan and personal portfolio tracker run by Oluwafisayomi Balogun. By using the site you agree to these terms.

  • Nothing on Baseline is investment advice.
  • Prices come from NGX once a day and can be late or wrong.
  • Baseline is free and provided as is.

Not investment advice

Everything on Baseline is for information only. The market scan, signals, flags and patterns describe past prices and the rules you set. They are not recommendations to buy, sell or hold anything. Baseline is not a broker or financial adviser and can't place trades. Decide for yourself, and talk to a licensed adviser if you need advice.

Prices and data

Prices come from the Nigerian Exchange's public price data and are refreshed once a day after the market closes. They can be late, missing or wrong, and a calculation built on them (gains, flags, rebalance amounts) is only as good as the price behind it. Check a price with your broker before acting on it.

Your account

  • Keep access to your sign-in email secure; anyone who can open your sign-in links can open your portfolio.
  • You're responsible for the trades and notes you log, and for checking they're correct.
  • Don't try to access other people's data, overload the site, or scrape it.

Accounts that break these terms will be deleted.

The service

Baseline is a personal project, provided free and as is. Features can change, and the site can go offline or close. If it is closing, signed-in users will be told by email first, and you can ask for a copy of your data at balogunfisayo23@gmail.com.

Liability

As far as the law allows, Baseline and its operator are not liable for any loss, including investment losses, from using the site or relying on its data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Privacy

How your data is handled is set out in the privacy policy.
