Privacy policy

The public market scan has no accounts and collects nothing about you. The only thing it stores is your light or dark theme choice, in your own browser.

If you sign in to the portfolio tracker, Baseline stores:

• Your email address, to send you sign-in links. There is no password.
• Your display name, if you set one.
• The trades you log: dates, tickers, prices, share counts, and any notes you add (thesis, exit plan, exit reason).
• Your rules: stop-loss, free-ride, rebalance and capital cap settings.

This is used only to show you your own portfolio. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with anyone except the services below that run the site.

Your data is stored with Supabase, which provides the database and the sign-in emails. The database only lets your signed-in account read or change your rows; other users can't see them.

• Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard request logs, which include your IP address.
• Supabase stores portfolio data and sends sign-in emails.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces, so your browser sends Google a request (including your IP address) when a page loads.
• jsDelivr serves the Supabase sign-in library on portfolio pages.

Baseline has no analytics, no ads and no tracking.

Baseline doesn't set cookies. It keeps a few things in your browser's local storage: your sign-in session (so you stay signed in), your theme, whether amounts are hidden on the portfolio page, and whether you're viewing the demo. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Your data stays until you delete it. Deleting a trade in the app removes it. To delete your whole account, or to get a copy of everything stored about you, email balogunfisayo23@gmail.com from the address you sign in with.

The portfolio tracker is for people aged 18 and over.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Significant changes affecting signed-in users will also be emailed.
